Step 8 – Evaluate your progress

Whatever key objectives are set at the beginning of an Area Wide Management program, there will be a need to evaluate progress against them.

You can contribute to formal evaluations of programs coordinated in your area, contact your Qfly regional coordinator or local council for further information. You may also wish to see for yourself if your efforts are working by evaluating how much clean fruit and vegetables your garden is producing each year. Your monitoring may indicate when Qfly increases, meaning you can intensify your efforts at that time in the future.

Being able to quantify your progress will also help you when talking to neighbours about the potential and benefits of managing Qfly and getting more of your community on board. Results talk!
